Zhongfu Shenying, the carbon fiber of China Composites Group Co., Ltd., hosted a grand opening ceremony to celebrate the formal operation of its kilo-ton SYT55 (T800) carbon fiber production line, solidifying Shenying’s leading position in domestic carbon fiber industry, and fostering its development into a higher level.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Ms. Liu Fang, general manager of Zhongfu Shenying, and attended by senior officials from CNBM Group and local government. Mr. Zhang Guoliang, Chairman of Shenying, gave a brief introduction of the program.
The new line, also named as line No.10, boasts an annual capacity of 1,000 tons SYT55 (T800) carbon fiber, the construction of which was started on February 22, 2017 with an overall investment of nearly 100 million Yuan. On August 28, the construction work was completed, and pilot production was launched. Its formal operation, which follows the stable operation of kilo-ton T800 precursor production line since last May and the hundred-ton T800 carbon fiber production line, marking a significant technological improvement, is a mile stone for the development of Zhongfu Shenying.
The new line features most advanced technology, highest production efficiency, highest automation degree, most environmentally-friendly operation and lowest investment & cost. The new line produces carbon fiber with performance better than its counterparts from other countries. The SYT55 carbon fiber is targeted to high-end market, and completely capable of ensuring a stable and sustained supply to China’s Defense Industry. It will not only satisfy demands from China’s highly-selected areas, but also push forward the progress of China’s carbon fiber industry.
In the past 12 years, Shenying has invested nearly 1.8 billion Yuan, and build 4 polymer systems, 6 precursor production lines and 10 carbon fiber production lines, with an overall capacity of 6,000 tons carbon fiber. The company is now China’s biggest carbon fiber manufacturer, with biggest annual capacity and most advanced technology, occupying more than 55% China’s market share. The company won twice the first prize for technological advancement, awarded by China Textile Commerce Association. Furthermore, Shenying became the first carbon fiber producer in China to obtain profits in civil market.
